What a treat we have for you all today. Two of our favourite producers of late, Irishman Kaily and his English counterpart Blandy have given us their brand new EP Back To 92 to premiere! It also happens to be getting a release on a label that has been steadily impressing over the past year; Lapsus Music. The brainchild of the renowned Italian artists Supernova, the label has been releasing some incredible house/tech groovers in recent times created by a diverse roster of talented producers.
The EP itself looks set to be another major milestone for the two producers. The title track Back To 92 (Def Mix) is one that will undoubtedly have a big impact. It’s rave reminiscent chords alongside a tough rhythmic drop will make it a favourite among djs. It possesses the kind of latent energy that we have come to know well from this talented pair. Alongside it is the Warehouse mix which is a little lighter on its feet but still retains the same fantastic chords, this one will undoubtedly do damage on the dancefloor with a fantastic build complimented by some choice percussion.
Although many will cite the two Back To 92 cuts as their weapons of choice, WWD has a real soft spot for How Long. It’s a track that probably could have supported an EP all on it’s own with a haunting vocal and a layered bass effect that is dancefloor effective. With a confirmed remix from the rising star that is Cera Alba as well as a label showcase in Dublin’s Button Factory set for Dec 5th, this won’t be the first time you will hear this exciting EP.
WWD recommended. Full release Dec 8th!
